It all began with the goal of helping to bridge the digital divide by refurbishing computers in the Bronx, NY, then the poorest congressional district in the nation.

Fully grasping the life-changing potential of a tech education, Per Scholas quickly shifted its mission, opening doors for tech careers and closing the tech skills divide.
